Nick Crofts was created in 1978. Since this time Crofts has owned numerous Casio keyboards, cheap drum machines, broken cassette recorders, two pianos and many other sonic toys along the way. This was where his love for sound and music production began. After Graduating in Sound from Liverpool University Crofts began to build his own studio in north london ‘The Glove Box’, Here he continues to produce and explore his love for recording and composing contemporary and experimental music.

Crofts music career has seen him work with various recording artists, as well as composing music for TV, Film and large scale stadium theatre productions around the world.  Alongside the commercial projects Crofts also records under the name 'Heart Years' writing dreamy, washed out synth pop. 

Crofts is set to release his 'Heart Years' debut album in Spring 2018.
